Helen Tomalik, RD, M.Ed, is an experienced dietitian who has worked with a variety of patients who have required medical nutrition therapy. Helen has worked in diverse health care settings and her most recent experience has focused on providing nutrition care to help clients recover and heal from surgeries and other complex medical conditions.
Helen has a passion for nutrition education and her focus is to provide clients with the tools to optimize their nutrition in a holistic way. Helen’s approach to nutrition care includes a personalized diet analysis and an individualized nutrition care plan that is optimal and client centred.
Education and Training
Helen completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition at Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at York University and a Masters in Adult Education at the University of Toronto Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She is registered dietitian (RD) and is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Helen is also a member of Dietitians of Canada.
In her personal life, Helen enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, photography and any activities related to food.
